SAUNA ASSEMBLY

The sauna comes in a crate. You'll need to assemble it but it is a very quick assembly.
INDOOR & INFRARED SAUNA
Our indoor saunas are suitable existing flooring includes concrete, ceramic, vinyl, laminate, tile or solid floors. Carpeting is not recommended.

The steam you make in either electric or wood burning comes from pouring water on the rocks, which is the same on either one.
Yes, of course! While some gyms and health clubs may suggest that this is not recommended, it is the main purpose of having rocks in a traditional sauna.

Yes, you can definitely upgrade your sauna heater to a woodburning stove.
It is highly recommended to make the sauna watertight.
Bevel siding and shingles are both great and will make your pod sauna watertight. It is just a matter of aesthetic preference.

Took me about 6 hours over 2 evenings to assemble almost all by myself. Had a pro run a new circuit from my panel. Very well made and assembly was straightforward. Heater is well sized and reaches operating temperature in under 30 minutes.
The build was as expected. Heats up to 180 in about an hour even in the winter in teh garage. Enough space for two people. We love it!

Putting my hillsboro sauna together was simple. The instructions are easy to follow. The only problem was the location of a vent on which a sliding door needed to be installed. It was cut into the bottom of the panel near the groove that fits into the base. Instructions claim it should have been on top of it. Luckily I was able to purchase another door and cut a hole into the proper side of the panel.
This was a small issue but did add extra cost. Otherwise the sauna is great. I'm a big guy weighing 290 and I and my wife could fit inside very comfortably.

Also, for the vent, we immediately checked this with Almost Heaven. It is possible that the assembly manual that came with your sauna is outdated. Kindly notice in the assembly manual we emailed you a month ago that the vent is at the bottom of the panel. This is the updated version. We sincerely apologize for the confusion. I have always wanted a sauna and I finally pulled the trigger. My wife was a little skeptical but she loves it now. She has been in it every night since it was installed. The installation process took a whole weekend with two people. It was not the easiest project but I am super happy now that it is done and we are using the sauna.
